Basically, the OPPO A18 is a good everyday phone aiming for the basics done well and nothing more to be expected. The 6.56-inch IPS LCD has good colours and some brightness, the resolution is fine but may disappoint some extreme media connoisseurs at 720p. Better Good The display still looks fine for day-to-day browsing, social networking and video-watching purposes of course.
It runs on the MediaTek Helio G35 processor and 4 GB of RAM, so day to day usage was smooth. And it is efficient in terms of light to moderate multitasking like you are scrolling through apps one by one and also playing some basic gaming games. But it may fall short with heavier apps or graphical games. It also has plenty of internal storage (128GB) and up to 1TB via microSD should you want take a lot on this phone in terms of photos videos and apps.
Has a bit of camera performance considering the price bracket Decent contrast levels on photos taken with the 8 MP main camera under good lighting, getting slightly noisy and a tad soft at some patches in low-light. Front camera: 5 MP Front-Facing Camera plus 16+2MP Depth Sensor Decent front-facing portrait shots with easy selfies and video chats.
Where the battery ident 1 that impresses as it comes with huge a 5000 mAh pack, which can deliver more than one day of endurance. It's also a big clue for web browsing, video streaming or kids gaming, any use case where that battery life is a huge positive (albeit the 10W fast charge is pretty pedestrian these days).
Sure, it is a breath of fresh air out-of-the-box: Offers Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 which makes for a clean and easy to use software experience throwing in things like smart sidebar, customisable gestures as well the ever improving dark mode. Others may take missing out on a fingerprint sensor as bad aspect, but this does not ruin the entire experience with utilizing OPPO A18 is user-friendly and consistent in everything it can deliver at its price-tag which makes it recommendable to budget hunters.
